Digital Learning Programmes:

The Achieve Glow tile is an online resource that Senior Phase pupils can use to access study support. There are a large number of study resources available for subjects at National 5 and Higher. All Senior Phase pupils can access this through their Glow login page. If a pupil goes to their Glow launch pad and clicks on the ‘add’ button next to their Glow Apps, they will be able to search for ‘Achieve’ and this will give them access to these resources. The App logo (as shown) is a purple background with a white circle containing the letter A in purple text and the word ACHIEVE shown in white text.

Mr Fleming posted further information on how to access ACHIEVE online resources on the S4, S5 and S6 year group Google classrooms on Tuesday, 29 October 2024. This can be found in the classwork tab under the Supported Study section (as shown in the image).

As part of the National e-Learning Offer, e-sgoil offer support to schools and learners. The e-sgoil programme provides live and interactive online webinars, delivered by experienced and fully GTCS-registered subject specialist teachers. The service is completely free for learners. e-Sgoil has also refreshed and updated their Senior Phase Learning Spaces which have been created using Thinglink. These contain a vast array of support materials in many subjects studied at Senior Phase Level. The easy-to-navigate Learning Spaces have been developed by specialist teachers to help S4-6 learners consolidate their learning and prepare for assessment.

In addition to subject specific content, each Learning Space contains links to additional support resources including a Health & Wellbeing Chillspace, an Exam Mindset Guide and Study Skills advice. Generic links to resource collections such as SCHOLAR, BBC Bitesize and West OS are also included along the bottom menu bar. You can access the Thinglink by clicking here.

The WEST OS Glow tile is another online resource that pupils can use to access study support. There are a large number of pre-recorded video lessons available for each subject at all levels. All pupils can access this through their Glow login page. If a pupil goes to their Glow launch pad and clicks on the ‘add’ button next to their Glow Apps, they will be able to search for ‘West OS’ and this will give them access to these resources. The App logo (as shown) is a multicoloured circle on a black background with West OS in white text in the middle of the circle. The direct link is available here.

The SCHOLAR Glow tile is another online resource that Senior Phase pupils can use to access study support. There are a large number of study resources available for multiple subjects at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher. All Senior Phase pupils can access this through their Glow login page. If a pupil goes to their Glow launch pad and clicks on the ‘add’ button next to their Glow Apps, they will be able to search for ‘SCHOLAR’ and this will give them access to these resources.
