In “Chemical Changes and Structure”, you will learn about chemical reactions and how we can control them, atomic structure, acids and alkalis, chemical formulae and the invisible forces which hold everything together through bonding.
“Nature’s Chemistry” looks at the chemistry of carbon and has a focus on fossil fuels, the petroleum and plastics industries, food from plants and their chemistry, and chemistry and health.
In “Chemistry in Society”, we will learn about materials derived from the earth, reactivity and extraction of different metals, ceramics, novel materials, alloys and sustainability.
