All children should grow up in safety without risk of being abused or neglected. It is our duty to promote, support and safeguard the wellbeing of all children.

Everyone working with children and their families need to understand the important role that they play in remaining vigilant and providing robust support for child protection.

There is an obligation to report/share concerns with the school CP Coordinator if:

  • You have reason to suspect a child is not being cared for, or has been, or is at risk of harm, abuse, neglect or exploitation
  • You are concerned about the conduct of a member of staff, or any other person
  • An allegation is made by a child against a member of staff, or any other person
  • An allegation is made against you
