PSE Curriculum Plan
Following the guidance of Curriculum for Excellence and NHS Lanarkshire, in PSE, pupils will cover a range of sensitive topics in relation to RSHP (Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood. This will be a 6 week block of lessons and will run from Monday 21 August until Friday 24 September 2023 for S1-S5 classes. Many of the materials have been created using the resources created by NHS Lanarkshire, with some modifications to suit Strathaven Academy and are designed to ensure that your child is well informed about issues that are relevant to them and their relationships. Should you have any concerns, please contact your child’s pupil support teacher.
