Rising Stars!
The purpose of the programme is to celebrate sporting achievement within Strathaven Academy. Pupils will be selected to be involved in the programme based on criteria involving pupils competing at a sport at a selected level.
The programme will offer support to pupils juggling both schoolwork and sporting commitments. Pupils will have the opportunity to attend workshops designed to give them an in-depth understanding of how to cope with the demands of school life and sport.
Please see the link below for our fantastic list of Rising Stars!
Physical Education Kit Policy
All pupils should bring their PE kit even if they are injured or ill, so they can participate through setting up equipment or officiating activities.
- All pupils should wear a Strathaven Academy branded top.
- A note is not necessary; if participation is in doubt, pupils should discuss this with their teacher at the start of the period.
- If you forget your PE kit you will be provided with a T-shirt to wear.
- All long hair should be tied back securely at all times during lessons.
