Get ready for a week of celebrating reading at Strathaven Academy. We may not be able to run our usual extra-curricular activities but there will be lots of reading activities across the subjects all week, our first DEAR period during Thursday Period 6, the Found Poetry competition and on Friday get ready for COSplay day. You can pay £1 or donate a book to dress as your favourite book/film/TV/game character or if you are too cool for COSplay you can wear your favourite band t-shirt. Prizes and house points are up for grabs for the best dressed.
