6K Fun Run

The Lanarkshire Schools 6K fun run and race took place on Sunday with over 30 Secondary Schools in attendance at Strathclyde Park. The event is open to students from S4 – S6 and includes teachers and school staff. Participants run, jog or walk around the park. Each participant gets sponsors to donate to this very worth-while charity. Attendees enjoyed the music, warm up dances and the brilliant atmosphere before the race. Well done to all Strathaven Academy pupils and staff who participated in the annual event in aid of St Andrews Hospice.
